It used to be Zoffany Fennel (a lovely green) but now it's Farrow & Ball Elephant's Breath.

LibraryBook · 13/11/2013 18:24

I hate to sound like a northerner moaner but I much preferred it the colour it was before. Eeeee.

wonkylegs · 13/11/2013 18:33

Very pale leaf green with white picture rail and white and darker green coving (which strangely works)
It's a lovely light room and the colours are nice as they go with the view of trees outside but it was the previous owners colour scheme I will be changing it in the new year when the new windows are put in.
it'll be changing to something like F&B James white or Ammonite with White & probably dove tale coving, which will match my printed silk curtains which I brought with me.

3 White walls, one a mid limey green, love it! Got some red bits to put up & will get a few red cushions, it's going to look lovely & festive, just the right side of vintage :)

Honestly never used anything but Dulux until now, noddy- but I'm converted. It's a Victorian room with high ceilings and shutters, and it looks so... elegant now.

A complete contrast to our 1970s homage everywhere else Grin

HerlockSholmes · 13/11/2013 18:39

All magnolia and white gloss with Lime, charcoal, silver and teal leafy wallpaper on one wall. Couch is green, carpet is green, curtains are white with stripes at the top to tone in with the wallpaper.

it sounds like alot of green but it's nice and calming without being cold. i love it

Chalk stone walls. Natural carpet.

Sofas are a kind of mole colour. Accents of red and a tiny bit of black, dark wood furniture.

MrsPnut · 13/11/2013 21:07

Our front sitting room is dulux timeless (a sort of off white colour) with the chimney breast painted in raspberry Bellini.
Our 2 mantelpieces are in very dark wood and the stove is surrounded by a stone fireplace. Our ceilings are about 10ft high and we have big wooden beams running along them.
The sofa is a cream and pinky red pattern and the curtains and rug are dark brown.

It looks good and the off white is easy enough to touch up by the door when grubby fingers touch it.

the room is quite big and south facing so i reckon it could take a bit of colour

Mostly neutral (House of Colour Mushroom), with the small wall under the staircase in duck egg blue.

noddyholder · 13/11/2013 23:01

Tethers little Greene is the designers fave! It's very good paint compared to FB I really like that colour.

Yes it's mine Smile
It's open plan to kitchen so quite long room. Wallpaper was dirt cheap!

echt · 14/11/2013 06:51

Brown. The front living room is entirely lined with cedar, and an enormous floor-to-ceiling (brown) brick fireplace. When we first moved in we thought we'd paint the room cream, but having lived with it for two years, we see that the original is best. The floor is also brown. With rugs.

One long wall is floor-to-ceiling windows facing north (Au) overlooking a semi-tropical raised bed. There are two skylights, and two long windows at one end, so the room is full of light and looks on green all year round.

We love this room now, though didn't at first.

Sung Blue and white, in a 1910 bay fronted terrace.

Madamecastafiore · 14/11/2013 07:11

Malm by F & B.

Is weird as we have red curtains and it takes on a reddy brown hue but had it in our old bedroom with mink curtains and looked slightly minky next to those yet a friend had it in he lounge with green blinds and it looked more green in there!!

MarshaBrady · 14/11/2013 07:14

F&B Shaded White. Really love it.

noddyholder · 14/11/2013 08:20
