Wanting to paint a 1920s extended detached bungalow. It is a hideous red brick with mix matching of dirty old and new brick.

What Dulux colour do you think would go for my exterior? Should I go for a white? Magnolia? You can view it here!

I'm desperate to get the house sold and I have only had 3 viewings in 8 weeks :( Any ideas what I can do to encourage viewings? Thanks for looking!

Green is your friend with red brick, it would be a mistake to paint( and what ever you do, use breathable paint, people are rotting their houses all over the country with weatherproof paint), Painting would create long term maintenance costs.

find the green that suits your brick colour, (check out the greens that the national trust have used with red brick(they paid a lot for those consultations)

Do your windows and fascias, and grow roses, roses look amazing against red brick check out david austin for some early flowing and late flowering climbers and ramblers.

it looks a lovely house - I wouldn't paint it. Actually I wouldn't like to buy a house that had been painted because it is more upkeep every however many years. I agree the initial photo isn't great but the rest of it looks really nice.
