Order of decoration - emulsion? woodwork?

Sorry, clueless question time!

I've just been quoted £270 by a decorator to decorate my dds bedroom. (13' x 11')

It's just been freshly plastered so needs doing from scratch.

I know this is something I could do but really can't remember the order to tackle the different elements of the job.

Please could some kind soul list how to tackle this for me?

Glad you posted this as we've just had DDs room plastered and have started rubbing down the woodwork. Am dying to crack on with the painting!!

We're still waiting for the plaster to dry abit more and then we will start rubbing down skirting boards, architraves and window surround. :)
