House #1: offer declined, raised offer declined; owner decided she didn't really want to sell yet, cos she hadn't found anywhere else she wanted to live. Hmm

House #2: offer accepted... Then got gazumped. Angry

House #3: vendors took it off the market the morning I 'phoned up to offer. :(

House #4: lots of to-ing and fro-ing about building work that had no sign off... But... now... um... offer accepted...?! Shock Grin

But only yesterday. I want to get excited, but I just daren't...

If it is real this time, things will probably move quickly... Both vendors and I are chain-free and keen to move as early as poss in the summer holidays - so maybe a month...?

When can I start believing it's really going to happen this time?! Confused

I can't work out whether I'm more scared of it falling through, or of it going ahead!

I'm the same. Had so many let downs and daren't get excited. Personally, I daren't eve think about it being ours until exchange of contracts.

it sounds v positive flow!

we exchanged today so are def moving on Friday. that is 3 and a half weeks since offer accepted. I'm over the moon!

3 and a half weeks? We had a torturous 9 MONTHS last time. It was hell. Never again.

flow4 · 02/07/2013 22:40

Good going poo! :)
We were set for 3.5 weeks too, but vendors have asked for a delay (I've posted separately about that) so it will probably be 5.5 weeks.
It still feels OK - and much better than your 9 months IHeart - poor you!
