Corner toilets - anyone got one of these?

I'm looking at the possibility of getting one of these for our main bathroom which is being redone (hurrah!). Are they comfy? Seen some that look nice but non-standard shaped pans IYKWIM. I think because they are seen as space saving toilets the pan is small too. Not that I have a large arse Grin but I did think......

I have no idea if they are any good, but just doing the plans for our bathroom and it is all my dp talks about at the most. Seriously twenty times a day....."but, its just so cool....a toilet....in a corner....a corner toilet. Whoever invented this was a genius!!"

Simple things eh

My DM and her husband had one in their old place, and it was very comfy. They had it in one corner and then a large shower in the other corner, so it increased the floorspace to stand outside the shower.

I didn't notice it being smaller tbh, and if my DM's husband's arse fitted it then I bet yours would Grin

Maybe me and your DP should get together for some bathroom talk dooooooodles Wink. I think I need to go to a showroom and sit on some!

I fit one in my last house - found it perfectly comfortable. Only issue is if you need to replace the seat, because they can be expensive and difficult to source (I discovered this after fainting during a nast spell of D&V and cracking ours!). Fine if you keep a note of the make and model when you buy though.

Paha seventies girl..... You'd never make it out alive. Your brain would shut down due to corner toilety overload. although they look pretty damn comfy I made the huuuige mistake of showing him this thread, and he's been swanning round with a big grin on his face saying..... See told you I was normal :-D good god.

Friend had one in their old house. Found it really annoying as I'd always sit on it at the wrong angle.

We have one and it's comfortable and perfect for the space. We also had a friend staying who commented on its comfort! As long as you think about where you're putting other things round it it'll be great. Agree replacement seats are expensive (our was around £60 I think!) but it's infrequently required.

We have one upstairs and I love it. Much prefer it to normal one. No being cramped next to a wall and you face into the room with a feeling of more space even if it's in a smaller room.

It was a revelation I can tell you! And one that I thoroughly recommmend
