That's it really. Has anyone had one fitted. It's either that or magnet. Any opinions would be fab. Thanks!

Thanks for the update

It all started so well and they were so pleasant to deal with until everything got delivered and then I was simply ignored!

I work in PR and my sister is a lawyer - so I know what I need to do if not resolved.

ihatethecold · 29/01/2015 14:29

Thanks Dee
Doesn't change my opinion of them.
I really feel for every customer on this thread.
Shocking how they treat their customers and I still wouldn't touch them with a barge pole.

Dinosaurporn · 29/01/2015 17:06

Don't forget poor Andy in Norwich!

Sherlockspal · 29/01/2015 20:52

I had forgotten about poor Andy

thenest · 30/01/2015 10:41

Dear Deewithdun

We did ask for an order number which was not supplied We received a response stating to speak to the designer but the designer would not know who 'deewithdun' is either. Unfortunately that was not enough information to find you hence why we wrote a generic post stating:

"To all customers that require help,

We really do want to help but unfortunately we cannot locate details from the mumsnet usernames that are supplied alone as it does not give us enough information to be able to find you.

Anyone who wants assistance, please supply the order number and store (if possible) and we will look into all of the issues you are facing.

Thank you"

thenest · 30/01/2015 10:44

Dear GB201175

Mumsnet have been in touch requesting that this does not continue on this forum. Our MD contacted your wife yesterday and also the store manager came to see you.

Kind Regards

GB201175 · 30/01/2015 10:55

Thanks and I eagerly await your feedback/resolution to my ongoing complaint

Sherlockspal · 30/01/2015 10:58

What do the rest of us have to do to merit such attention?
We are now into 13 months of delay in completing our kitchen, poor quality products and fitters are the main problems.
Nest please do not trot out your usual well practised excuses and obscuration, just sort out the problems.
What have you done to poor Andy in Norwich, is he feeding the fishes?

Sherlockspal · 30/01/2015 11:04

I forgot to mention that the Kitchen looks great overall but snagging work and doors need to be supplied to complete.
My advice --- keep a contemporaneous record of every email, phone call, visit and conversations with Wren from day 1 you may need to prove train of events.
Fix my kitchen please, and no more BS.

DeewithDun · 30/01/2015 11:12

FIO Thenest. You read the posts on this website. I told you the name of the designer and the store. You requested the order number and I supplied this on Friday 16th January 2015. I see you are still good at blaming your customers for your mistakes. In case you miss it again - 21328075

Henbur1702 · 30/01/2015 11:17

I wonder if the op did consider wren Shock I'll certainly be giving them a wide berth!

thenest · 30/01/2015 11:39

Dear DeewithDun

Yes unfortunately we did miss the order number being supplied so we have this now thank you.
This is not the easiest platform to communicate with unfortunately. We will take a look at the order and ask that someone contacts you.

Kind Regards

Tiredemma · 30/01/2015 21:20

What about bedroom stuff from there??

Devora · 30/01/2015 21:46

Gosh. And their Linda Barker ads look so lovely Grin

Munger · 31/01/2015 00:30

It appears that chipped paint on the Linda Barker kitchens is a known issue.. Have a look at the number of disgruntled customers over here >

You type your message, hit post.
Then you wait for replies.
And repeat typing and hitting post.
Not that hard.

That is shocking, I bet you've turned grey!

Sherlockspal · 02/02/2015 22:39

C'mon now, it is clear to me that poor Wren simply are blighted by the wrong kind of customers.

thenest · 03/02/2015 11:40

Dear Dinosaurporn

If you want some genuine assistance we are happy to help you if you supply an order number so we can locate your details.

Thank you

YetAnotherHelenMumsnet · 03/02/2015 12:04

Hi thenest and ran2258,

It looks like there's been a conflict in real life that's come onto this thread, and we think it'd be much better if you take it off the boards and try resolve it there - as Mumsnet isn't really intended for this sort of thing. We will be dropping you a line on the matter.

Beckie0709 · 03/02/2015 12:57

I really need some advice as the Bedford brand and my the Wren customer services have been completely useless...Has anyone had a faulty product and then had to pay to have the new item refitted themselves?

We paid for a fitter ourselves originally, then our laminate worktop has blown twice, (among many other issues) on the first occasion Wren refitted it but the joinery was shocking!! And the worktop bubbled again, in exactly the same spot- by the sink. It seems that because it is pre-edged that water is getting between the worktop side and top (two different materials), surely this is a design faulty which will keep occurring?

After several conversations with their customer service team I agreed to their offer of replacing the worktop and providing a different fitter this time, they advised me I could then claim for compensation due to all the time off work I have had to have and damage their fitter caused to my kitchen. I have today chased them up to see when this will be taking place only to be advised that they will not fit the kitchen as the original contract was supply only and that I am not entitled to claim any compensation. Even though they had already offered me this?!

I feel completely let down with their post sales service, I have come across no members of staff who will apologise or help the customer, it's all about cutting costs. I am so upset with the whole experience and don't know where to turn.

thenest · 03/02/2015 13:30

Dear Beckie0709

We are sorry to hear of this issues you have been having with the worktops. Can you please highlight the order number so that we can investigate this further for you.

Kind Regards
Wren Living

StandByYourTesselators · 03/02/2015 14:16

Is it just me or is this a spectacular social media fail? Deploying your robotic Mumsnetter to come and argue with people with genuine and serious complaints, and do we really need to know that the MD was sent round to visit someone's wife?

AND WHAT ABOUT ANDY IN NORWICH!

Beckie0709 · 03/02/2015 14:29

To thenest, I have privately sent you my details and shall wait to hear from you. Thank you!
