That's it really. Has anyone had one fitted. It's either that or magnet. Any opinions would be fab. Thanks!

Wish I’d seen this thread before buying from Wren. The kitchen designer/units are really good. The after service when a problem arises (only a few days after installation) is absolutely shocking. I’m banging my head against a brick wall with the customer service team and no idea where to turn next. It seems impossible to get an uptodate contact for the M.D./CEO.

Oh lawks! I've got Wren booked to come and meaure next week. I think I'll be cancelling that. We're so busy with elderly relatives and so on at the moment that I just don't have the energy to deal with Wren.

Thanks to all the people who've outlined their experiences - so much more illuminating that they Trustpilot reviews they shout so loudly about!

lascar123 · 28/11/2018 16:28

Would avoid like the plague, terrible service regarding their worktops.
We decided to purchase the worktops from Wren as they promised a 2 week wait time for them to be installed.
So initially we were given the date of 28th November, then a few days later after booking a fitter 2nd December then last night another email saying delayed until 17th December. No doubt another email is on it's way saying it won't be done until next year.
Wren promise that the worktops will be with us within 2 weeks yet we'll be waiting a minimum of 6 weeks if they stick to the last date given which is clearly very unlikely.
Wren are fully aware with the issues with their supplier j rotherham judging by the number of negative reviews here yet they continue to peddle the lie of 2 weeks for the worktops in order to secure your money.
The contract you sign is based on a lie, there's no way I or other customers would have gone with wren for the worktops if they'd been honest with us.

simmoj19 · 25/03/2019 11:23

Wren use a very hard selling technique..
the sales staff are only focused on selling!
youll probably find that they will give you the quote and then the manager will do a "deal" for you which will only be a one time offer to make you pay a deposit.

best experience with wickes and jewson!

MarieG10 · 26/03/2019 13:17

We gave up trying to get a firm price with them. It was a total farce sat in the showroom. Different price if we sign today but different tomorrow . We walked out and we glad we did after a friends experience with them

DIYkitchens.com won't Which Best Buy Kitchens last year. Can't recommend them highly enough and far cheaper than Wrens

RamonF · 18/05/2019 17:20

I have fitted and recommended wren kitchens.
Do & Donts.
Do haggle.
Don’t get quartz worktop from them. They farm it out to J Rotherham who are terrible.
Otherwise great product.

VexedDH · 15/12/2019 22:39

The Wren product most definitely is not great and their service is worse!!

MTJTD · 16/12/2019 07:53

Having worked in the kitchens industry for 20+ years; Wren are universally regarded as one of the worst places to buy a kitchen.

The showrooms are designed to wow you, but it's all style over substance; you'll get pressure-sold a massively overpriced kitchen and if anything goes wrong, they're a nightmare to deal with.

Avoid like the plague. If you need supply & fit, Wickes are by far the better company with Magnet second.

If you don't mind finding your own fitter; go to an independent. You'll get as good a product (better in some cases) and save an absolute fortune.

And never fall for the interest free credit trap.

This is what @wrenkitchens leave you with after you pay them nearly £7000. Watch the video review:

Remmy123 · 01/03/2020 14:23

I watched the video, that is terrible!!!!! Really hope you get things sorted soon x

dando852 · 01/03/2020 16:09

exactly what happened to us!

meteadan · 22/03/2020 13:07

Wren Kitchens sure has the best looking showrooms but the quality and price does not seem to be what they claim to be.
They present you a showroom with over 40 displays of Premium Kitchens but the price is over the top.
When it comes to pricing you will have to settle with their basic range which offers only a few colours and inferior quality drawers and components.
They are not cheaper than the competition. Use their free service to have your kitchen surveyed and planned but look at competition as well before you decide.
I was a former employee of Wren Kitchens and I quit because I was embarrassed about telling lies to customers about their products and the pressure I had to put on customers because of the targets emposes on us.
Their sale period does not end so don't be pressured with putting a deposit. Think twice and think three times and maybe four times...

MTJTD · 27/03/2020 09:55

Side note for anyone considering supporting Wren's business; 23/03/2020 and at the beginning of the Coronavirus UK lockdown, Wren decided to "reduce it's showroom staff" (i.e. sack) ~600 of it's staff to save money during the pandemic.

They could have put them on "furlough" (a state of temporary leave whereby the government would pay 80% of their salary until the lockdown is lifted), but instead they decided to completely terminate their employment and pay them a single week's notice.

They also had the nerve to end their dismissal notice with the following:

“Once this extraordinary crisis has passed, we would invite you to re-connect with the company.”

TLDR: Wren sacked ~600 workers with 1 weeks pay, leaving them with no income during a pandemic lockdown that is expected to last a minimum of 12 weeks.

So yeah, don't buy from these guys. :)

SAY NO TO WREN KITCHENS

I started a petition to get the attention of the Employment Tribunal about their practices.

Please visit my page I created to see employee reviews and more about this company.

Rowgtfc72 · 27/03/2020 15:56

Nooo!
Local firm to me. Telling their factory workers they are key workers and making them work in unsafe conditions when they are not essential.
Then they lay off showroom staff, not furlough them, and say they'll have them back when this is all over.

DC10 · 28/03/2020 21:38

Wren Kitchens are great - well ours is anyway. We had it done last year - very solid cabinets, a huge choice of ranges and finishes. Cheaper than the other firms we looked at. Very efficient delivery/replacement of item damaged in delivery. We used their fitting service, as in the past with other companies I've found using an independent fitter causes issues. I absolutely love their tall slide out basket range, which I've had fitted to make a large pantry unit. The fitter was great and did extra work for us - plastering, taking down a wall, fitting new spotlights etc.

meteadan · 28/03/2020 22:37

This looks like a cookie cutter post. Just saying the right things about Wren kitchen almost like an advertisement.

lovelyupnorth · 29/03/2020 08:38

@DC10

Do we work for Wren? Guessing not read the above posts.

I won’t need to boycott them as would never go near the place before this.

dando852 · 03/04/2020 10:52

Looks like you just wrote a fake review paid by Wren

dando852 · 03/04/2020 10:52

meant to say it to DC10

Redwoodmaz · 06/04/2020 11:13

A friend of ours used Wren about 5 years ago. He had loads of issues BUT eventually it was all sorted.
However, due to issues it all took ages...
