i'm going out of my mind.....

  • decorated our bedroom in a gorgeous very pale green (somewhere between mint and duck egg)...
  • bedroom furniture is all white wood
  • vintage cream distressed chandelier
  • WFT do i do about bedding??? I bought 3 different ones to try and they all look rubbish. Too pale and the room is washed out, too bold and it's overpowering. I like floral but am finding it hard to find floral that doesn't make it look like a 90yr old's room. (Tried Cath Kidston but none of them i like come in Kingsize)

would love some advice from someone with a better eye for design than myself!!

This is rather lovely

I have some bedlinen from Feather and Black and think the quality is better than the WHite co.

When we had a mint green room, we had various duvets depending on feel. Plain white looked very good, we had one that was white with very dramatic embroidery in various shades of green, and we had a few that were basically plain white with very small touches of bright colour, a bit like this www.heals.co.uk/bedding/cubic-duvet-single-set/invt/765581

Duck-egg blue (a present) never looked very good.

I'd try Ikea Rosali bedding. It comes with a blue background but you want floral on white. I used it in a room with pale green walls, cream carpet and cream furniture and it looked very nice.

I would do plain white (eg the white
Company £££ but gorgeous) with a mink/brown chunky knitted blanket on the bottom

I always use white bedding, and you can always get a throw and cushions in, maybe, pink and green or floral to go with your walls.

I would go for white bed linen with a throw on the bed. I'd probably look for a darker shade than the walls though rather than brown.

I've got duck egg walls, cream silk curtains & a cream satin throw on my bed.

I generally have white bedlinen, but become bored & change it to a dark/light pattern eau de nil/ duck egg, which works well. Its designers guild, not sure if they still make it though.
