Help me, I'm being crap, what (oil? Water based?)dulux neutral/off white colours have you used on skirtings and architraves?

More advice please...sorry, I'm such a crap DIY person, have no idea why I said we should renovate a house

I'd be happy with white eggshell on woodwork but DH is less of a white person. So, what other v light beige/cream colours should I go for? And oil or water based?
