Will metro brick tiles look naff in a contemporary bathroom? If so, inspire me with tiles!

i love them, but the bathroom suite we're having - and the taps/shower etc - is modern. DH bought it up, I didn't think it was an issue...

Any thoughts?

And do inspire me with tile ideas...

We have them in our modern style kitchen. If you like them... go for it.

I don't see any problem. Might be inclined to go for the ones that are not crackled or bevelled, though - i.e. the flat white brick ones.

They are a bit vintage, but they can definitely work in a modern design. If you have an iPad, I would recommend you download the Houzz app, otherwise go on their website (houzz.com) and search for subway tiles - they have tons of photos.

You mean the brick-shaped with bevel edges? They look modern to me.
