Can we have a directory of online kitchen appliance places that people have used and are reliable?

when you say appliances, do you mean dishwasher/freezer/washing machine etc? John Lewis give a very good service. There prices usually include 2 year warranty so may look a bit higher than others (but not always)

or do you mean sink, taps, knives etc?

I mean everything and anything really when you're kitting out a kitchen. And funnily enough, John Lewis delivered at about 8:30 this morning. I'd marry JL if I could.

Oh, and JL have give a 3 year guarantee if it's their own brand, even if bought in the Clearance sale. Plus free delivery, of course.

the above was sink tap & oven . Fridgefreezer will be from appliances online but they are next day delivery and i dont want it here yett. not such a good feeling as all in here boxed up and fitter has gone awol!! i suppose at least its done for if and when he decideds to turn up.

We had big problems with the 'sinks-taps' people. DH got there to collect the sink and taps and they said the sink was damaged but they had a similar one which cost more we could have instead (at the increased cost of course). He agreed as it was that one or nothing. When we got it home, it didnt come with the specific plumbing kit the other one did (no mention of that when he brought it home) so our plumber had to connect a few bits of pipe together which took up loads of space under the sink compared to what we had originally chosen. The company couldnt have been less interested when we told them of our problem
