Mum lent me a book to read last night all about my grandad (my mum's father). It turns out he designed and built lots of lovely houses in Surrey WG Tarrant

I never knew that. I feel oddly proud of him even though I never met the man.

Oooh I'd be proud too. I was at school with someone who lived on the St George's Hill estate and some of the houses are lovely. Did you know it was the site of one of the largest revolutions against dividing up the common land that was farmed by the poor?
