I have looked on Google, but there is too much choice really, a recommendation would be great.

We're looking for a wall mounted chrome rail with dual fuel option, along these lines:

Thanks!

we got ours from screwfix, really reasonably priced

linspins · 13/10/2010 20:43

ditto screwfix for ours too.

taffetacat · 13/10/2010 21:36

bisque?

Pannacotta · 13/10/2010 21:47

Thanks, Screwfix does have a nice towel rail, but I had wanted dual fuel (ie electric) so you can use it the summer too and they dont sell any with this option.

Will look at Bisque thanks.

eastbrook are the best IMO they have a good range and generally use builders merchants as stockists so you can screw them down to a good price

taffetacat · 14/10/2010 14:26

we have one bisque and one eastbrook Grin

both bought at trade price from a builders merchants Grin

massivemammaries · 14/10/2010 14:30

ermm.... worth saying that at builders' merchants, trade price is pretty standard for everyone but with a bit of negotiation you should be able to get a much better deal. On order to order Items there is no such thing as trade price and you should be aiming for 25-30% off retail

Pannacotta · 14/10/2010 15:25

Thanks, I have an Eastbrook brochure here.
massive what would you say is the best way to get a good deal, is offering cash enough?
Am rubbish at haggling...

no offering cash is lame to be honest ...... bear in mind that the stockist will be on a 60-70% discount from list ...... tell them that you have been given a better price from a local competitor and get them to beat it. Also dangle the carrot by telling them that their competitor is also quoting on your new boiler, kichen and bathroom suite.

If you don't feel able to be creative with the truth then get a list of Eastbrook stockists and ring a few up then play them off against each other ............... don't underestimate the power of your norks when dealing face to face!

I have dealt with eastbrook loads over the years and have always found them very helpful and their products good quality

I bought online from best heating , Milano radiators (not bathroom mind). I was really happy with the websites communication and delivery and really happy with the Milano range. I plan on buying their bathroom radiators and more standard radiators as I do each room. Good range of water/electric and dual fuel options.
