Thanks so much for posting this, nearly managed to book for my DS as they still had availability at Camber Sands but sadly they don't let young people go on holiday together (OK to be a teenage parent though) as my DS said, what kind of incentive is that for doing the right thing

Thats a shame ladylapsang unfortunately I suppose they have to have rules as they have probably had incidents in the past and as always the few ruin it for the many and all young people get tarred with the same brush.

I tried to book a budget apartment but it was £40 plus £10 booking fee?

Same here, all the 10 holidays sold out but they could offer me an upgrade to a classic for 50. Still good value but you have to pay electric and these are all over 200 miles from us, thanks for telling us though

Electric is quite cheap. Whenever I've been I've spent approximately £1 a day.

Did you ring carrie or do it online? My friend couldn't get a £10 one online yesterday but managed to by ringing.

I would recommend against the basic accomodation at camber sands, we got a free hol there and when we arrived it was super grim. The carpet was dirty, there was a bath no shower and there curtains were tatty. We upgraded to the middle range for about £50 and the accomodation then was basic but clean, laminate floor that had been swept etc. and a shower (essentail imo when kids have been at the beach)

But on the positive side the beach was a very short walk and was a lovely beach, we go back to that beach now it was so nice, so i would just recommend the upgrade

We had buget accomodation and whilst not fantastic, after a quick clean with some flash spray it was fine. But then I'm not very fussy.
