free kids iphone/ipod touch app

I've written an app for kids for iPhones/iPod touches. As part of submission, we are given some codes to allow people to download it for free.

To use a code, you need to have or set up an iTunes account with the US store (this is free to do). The UK iTunes stores doesn't let you use free codes, unfortunately.

The codes are first come, first served, and each can only be used once. If the code you try has already been used, it will say so, and you can try the next one. If you don't think your children will use the app, please leave the code for someone else!

To use a code, you need to go to the website www.timestableclock.com HERE and click on 'available in the App Store' (change it to US site to use a code - click on the flag button at the bottom-right of the main screen in iTunes, and choose the US flag). You can then copy/paste the code when you choose to download the App.

Codes:

AXX3PY3KWETM
MT3WXFA7RW9A
WMKAJELWEX34
EK6ANHF9ATM7

I hope you enjoy it.

At least two of the codes are still available (sorry, can't tell which were used).

They are time limited and expire in about two weeks.

DyslexiaTeach: my son is dyslexic and really struggling with maths - I have been on your site and the app looks great - hopefully when I get home tonight one of the codes will still be valid.

Thanks! I hope he enjoys it. The kids I teach have found it quite addictive, and like the fact that they don't have to deliberately try to learn the facts, but they just go in automatically. I think both the codes left at the weekend are still available. (I know the thing about having to go through the US site sounds like a hassle, but it's really not. Hopefully eventually they will start giving us codes that can be used in any iTunes store, but not yet!).

DT: I couldn't do it through the US site - I'm going to buy it off the UK - can I do that?

cornsillkwearsclogs · 13/05/2010 21:12

are those codes actually valid? I know the op has advertised her app on here before.

DyslexiaTeach · 13/05/2010 21:22

Yes, they are valid.

Two have been used (can't tell which, as the report says only when a code has been used, not which one), but the other two are still valid.

You can buy it from the UK site if you want, but I was trying to be helpful and give it away for free to anyone who was interested. If there's a problem with using the codes on the US site, then you can contact the support address for help. You do have to set up an account with the US store, but it is free to do so.

okay - thanks op.

DT: I don't mind paying for it - I'm willing to try anything to help my son with his maths.
