I am looking for a swing for the garden or/and slide or play house or climbing frame. Something that will last a couple of years. Does anyone know where there are any deals? I have looked on mothercare and seen 10% voucher code but thought I would ask before I order. Any ideas greatly appreciated.

We bought DS the Plum Spider Monkey frame for his 2nd birthday and it is brilliant and he loves it, our 1 year old DD gets use from it too. There's plenty on it including a swing, duo rider, slide, climbing net and monkey tyre. It's sold in ELC but we found the best deal on www.allgardenfun.co.uk. We did a search on the internet for this company and found a 10% discount code which made it even cheaper. The TP stuff is very good too although it tends to be a bit more expensive. Good luck!

TREAT12 will get you 20% off ELC until 26th April. Not valid on TP stuff though. Have a search about the smaller sites.

Make sure you search for voucher codes online before ordering - if you're getting a lot of stuff it could be a huge saving

(sorry, no advice on actual products - just hate anybody having to pay full price for ELC)

Am thinking of getting the Little Tikes Hide and Slide which has £50 off at ELC at the moment, I like the Plum stuff too but slightly out of my price range.

if you go on ebay you could get it much cheaper - your LO is not going to know that it isn't brand new - they seem to go for about £40 on there

PiratePrincess · 15/04/2010 21:42

I would recommend the TP stuff, I think kids are really adventurous and can handle the bigger sets. Much cheaper in the long run too!

My 23 month DD is climbing up the slide of our TP set, gets to the top and slides down by herself. Also climbs up the ladder to the trampoline, does up the zip and bounces. Also climbs up the wooden drawbridge to the fort.

I can only blame her older brothers

I have a little tikes slide that I am about to list on Ebay but would be happy to sell it to anyone on here for £15. It would be collection only from Suffolk/cambridgeshire boarders. Anyone interested send me an email.
