The Sun holidays, has anyone heard back yet?

Hi ladies, after booking my Sun holiday online via my priorty code for the last few times I have forgotten how long it takes them to assign somewhere when you send off for it!

Does anyone know roughly how long I should give it before assuming we've been unlucky? Has anyone posted off their form and been given a holiday yet?

I emailed them twice and eventually they got back to me and said that I'd got the holiday I'd applied for. Still haven't had confirmation from Siblu though!

We did it online and paid for ours straight away does that mean we've def got it?

dis, yep, i loved doing it that way, I hate waiting but we wanted to go away with 2 other familes this time and the only way to do it was postal application

Thanks MaryBS, my rl friend linked me to the t&c's somehow i'd missed the bit where it said when we'd hear by even though it was the 2nd point Apparently we should get either confirmation if successful or the cheque return if unsuccessful by 25th Feb, so i'll wait til then and keep fingers crossed it's only a week away

Our cheque has been cashed so we have definitely got a holiday, just dont know where etc as gave a few choices.

we got our first choice holiday on the dates we wanted. it arrived last week. its our first time doing it. should we bother to upgrade. we are going to wild ducks in nottingham.

Was there a park in Nottingham? I went for Mablethorpe as that looked the closet to Nottingham.

I applied for the first time in January, as soon as I had collected the 10 required tokens. I still haven't heard anything as yet, which is rather annoying. Does it normally take this long?

I had confirmation last week. As far as upgrades go, i'd say it depends on what time of the year you are going. If you are going in the 'shoulder months' May, Sep/Oct then you may well appreciate the extra heating in the caravans.
Also, if you prefer to have accommodation that has not been allowed pets, definitely upgrade.
