What to do with my £70 Tesco vouchers?

Hi,

I realised this morning that we have £70 of tesco vouchers to spend. We have only ever spent them on more shopping so ideas for what we could do with them would be much appreciated (I know I could go online but MN ideas are so much better!)

We live in Dorset so down south ideas more likely to be done.

Thanks!

I'm saving mine up for Merlin Passes!

SparkleandShine · 13/02/2010 07:14

I have in the past:

Shuttle tickets - go to France!
Goldsmiths - Armani Watch
sailing (its part of those experience day things)
ice climbing (ditto)
Chessington world of adventures

anything catch your eye??

BlackYellowRed · 13/02/2010 07:16

airmiles!

BaconWheatCrunchies · 13/02/2010 07:37

What's a Merlin Pass?

Chessington sounds fun, but is it suitable for a 20mnth and 4.5YO?

Ice climbing far to extreme sport for me!

Just checked out the merlin passes, would love to go to Alton towers, might make the trip if I had a pass, takes about 5 hrs from here I think!

I used tesco clubcard deals to pay for my daughters birthday party at Tenpin bowling - feels like a "free" party

tassisssss · 13/02/2010 08:06

we've spent ours on ferries to Ireland, a Park Resorts Holidays in Northumberland, have booked 10 nights with Siblu in the S France, magazine subscriptions, day trips...

satc2bringiton · 13/02/2010 15:59

Meals out
Blockbuster Vouchers
Cineworld
Magazine subscriptions

We mostly use them for these.

I converted £400 worth into £1600 towards a cosmos holiday in majorca.

FoJo · 14/02/2010 08:52

DOnt ever spend them on shopping!! My vouchers are my 'days out and more' account. Managed to pay for self catering apartment for 5 nights at easter at disneyland paris last year, also theme parks around britain, legoland would be gret for your children or just save them up for when they;re a bit older

FoxForceFive · 14/02/2010 08:58

Check the expiry date on each voucher, as you may want to save up for something big.

We've had holidays, merlin passes, days out vouchers, restaurant vouchers, magazine subs. On the website, you can search by area for days out etc. Have a browse. Isle of Wight ferries may still be on there, not sure.
