Talk to me about airmiles please - I know nothing!

We've got some Tesco vouchers due to expire soon, and have I have just realised that they can be exhanged for airmiles.

The flights that we were hoping to book to get on holiday in September are much more expensive than we anticipated so I thought hat using airmiles might make it more affordable.

Can airmiles be used for any flight, with any airline?

The flights that we have in mind aren't until October so is it worth me waiting or do I just have to get them booked and start working more overtime?!

I'm not sure I'm afraid. It's a British Airways company so it's usually BA flights plus their partner airlines. Who do you need to fly with?

If you have never converted tesco vouchers into airmiles before, do it before 21 March and get double the usual airmiles. Plenty of info here.

you can fly to faro with britsh airways althought the flight is about 6pm so you dont get there till about 8pm.

Yes, and it's not from Cardiff which is a shame.

The trouble is that the villa we go to has a minibus with it, and the times that it is returned to the airport is based around people using the cardiff flight with bmibaby.

Think we'll have to think again about using airmiles.
