What bargains are out there in the sales?

By this time last year I had done most of my Xmas shopping in the sales. Have not got anything yet!
What should I get and where. The cheaper the better!

I worked over Christmas and new year so haven't had much chance to shop. Braved my way throught the snow today but all the shops seem to have been well blitzed.

Matalan were doing farmer (own make im guessing) jeans cheap. I got a pair from £14 down to £3.50 and £18 pair for £4.50. Really nice too
