I have lots of Tescos vouchers - where should I go in August?

how many people is it for cosmos you can use £400 per person I would say theats your best bet

We have got £400 odd that we have saved up and I am about to convert them to holiday vouchers for cosmos.

Katy - we are have the same amount of Tesco vouchers to spend on a hol too but are thinking about end of Many/June instead. You can only spend up to £400 per person with cosmos but I think it is £600 per person with Virgin. You might get a week somewhere nice with Virgin (most of their rooms are for 3 people so is no good for us).

Have a look on the websites but look at the price before reduction as that is the price you will have to pay with Tesco vouchers. Not sure about virgin but with cosmos, unless you are paying the whole amount in vouchers, you will have to pay the deposit in cash/by credit card.

I just blew £630 of my vouchers so I only have about £1000 left - even with the £42 (or so) I have coming in Feb that kinda blows it for us I think

I converted £390 last night and will get £1560 in cosmos holiday tokens. The holiday we are looking at is £2100 so pretty happy with that.

Katy - I have had to be quite stict with myself not spending the vouchers on other things, though I have still blown a lot on hotel/restaurant/Disney on Ice, etc, otherwise we would be heading for the Carribean now!

Yeah, I think you're looking at min £1500 for a week in Aug for 3 SC (which is why we are looking at going end of May ). Do Tesco still do Siblu campsites? The price includes ferry crossing, don't know whether car/petrol costs would be an issue for you, though.

Am hoping for Menorca but have a couple of others in reserve. The Menorca one works out about £2,300 for 4 us SC in July for a fortnight but knocking £1500 off with the tokens makes it much easier to bear!

We have been v good and not spent any of them on other deals.

Tesco still do Siblu.

Need to start saving them up again now though so it will be Butlins next year for us

cosmos have some good offers in Majorca, we stayed full board at club Mac Saturno this year (outside school hols) for a family of 4 its about £900.00 for a week x

If you havent converted to airmiles before you get double miles just now, so it can work out well...

lambanana - we were looking at the Balearics also but thought it might be a bit on the cool side in May. It's great for the DCs though. Looking at Canaries possibly also.

1legmummy - We looked at the Saturno...how was it? Is the lake a bit wiffy or does it attract flies?? Do you get much noise/trouble from the party animals in Alcudia??

Unfortunately the (only) bad thing with the tesco vouchers is that you have to pay brochure price, you can't take advantage of any offers or discounts.
