You can use Tesco vouchers for AA. Works out at 25% of the cost, I think.

if you sign up to quidco (great cashback site) The AA are offering an amazing 42% cashback off all their breakdown cover and insurance policies. The minimum is £21 and that can be on a basic £28 policy

heres the link

I only discovered Quidco just before chrimbo and have already made almost £30 just doing little bits of shopping here and there

Tesco's own breakdown cover (with Green Flag) is good & they usually have an introductory offer.

Or if you have Clubcard vouchers you can get RAC dead cheap.

Or as dobby says, use quidco (worth getting better than the basic membership though - if you break down & need towing more than a few miles, it costs a lot - also if you don't have homestart you are stuffed if you have a flat battery any time)

Try www.moneysavingexpert.com Martin Lewis has loads of tips for cheap cover.

We always find Green Flag is the cheapest.

Loads of insurance companies provide "free" breakdown cover. That might work out even cheaper for you.

Thank you - i do have some tesco vouchers so will have a look at that - and going to go and look at quidco too!

SERIOUS WARNING - NEVER EVER use or join the RAC - they had my DP over for nearly three hundred quid after wrongly diagnosing a problem then instigating an entirely unnecessary repair in cahoots with another set of crooks, and they couldn't care less - utter, utter bastards - DO NOT USE THE RAC and tell all your friends the same !!!!!

Green Flag - slow response time, but good service, AA - absolutely faultless - just steer clear of the other morons, please...
