And, it was my first order with them, so now I'm worried; it didnt give me a ref number or a customer number, which I apparently need to check my order Called them to say I hadnt had a confirmation email (IME this comes instantly more or less when you order online), and they said it might be 3 days, and they cant check anything without a customer number

Ok, now I see that 5688, I think, works too , and a code for £10 off first orders

If that code had worked, I'd have saved about £9

Cant cancel it because I cant do anything without a customer number, which didnt come up anywhere I could see . I'm in limbo!

On the plus side, I did only buy sale stuff, so if it all turns up (some out of stock till Jan), thats tops for all of us

Yeah, I did I love the way customer services on phone said they couldnt do anything without my customer number... but if I havent had an email within 3 days, call back and they'll find the order using my address

I just used the 5688 one and it worked, the 5598 just seemed to give free delivery- but I have the same email saying 25% everything.

Mustrunmore- I had the same thing- couldn't find my customer number anywhere- but it was on the email about the 25% non-code (I had emailed them a few days ago asking for a reminder but they never got back to me)

Now theyve sent me an apology offering £5 off a £10 or more spend, but what's the point? Order something else only for it to be out of stock?

Not impressed. Wont be shopping with La Redoute again.

Just for comparison, I ordered something form Health Store 24/7, a really good half price deal on Saaf Skincare.

They called me about half an hour after I'd placed the order to say that they were very sorry but one of the items was out of stock, and that they would refund my card.

Now THAT'S the sort of customer service I like!

Ok, I called them today, and the lady was much more polite and helpful than the man I spoke to last time. However, 2 items out of stock till march so I've cancelled them, 2 tops sold out totally so just not coming, so that leaves me with two tops that are coming . You're right, its too much hassle to order anything again
