here

I was a bit miffed as the 'free' grotto actually has a £1.50 booking fee, but it's well worth booking as we went last year(when it was free to book) and the queue was huge. As we'd pre-booked we went straight to the front and straight into see the man himself

Happy booking

yep it's £1.50 to book, which is the same whether there's 1 child or 9, I think it's worth it as everywhere else is much more. Last year the grotto was quite cute and they had real reindeer next to the grotto. They also have other things but they need paying for. and each child gets a gift. ds got a noddy book and dd got a pack of fancyish rubbers last year! We went to Leeds castle the previous 2 years and paid £7 each (or more, can't remember exactly) and they got a teddy which wasn't as well received by dc.
