I have just done my whole xmas shopping with this offer! For new customers only, however I just registered again with a new email address and it worked fine, then signed my sister up to very to take advantage of the offer again. They have 3 for 2 offers on selected gifts and childrens clothes also so I managed to save a fortune! £60 spend can include delivery charge also.

Code: ZG003

Unsure of expiry date.

Lizzylou · 16/10/2009 16:47

Thanks so much!
I've just done this for my DS2's, Neice and Nephews presents.
If I set up another email address, will it still be OK to use my home address and same bank card again?

Bucharest · 16/10/2009 17:08

I used a different card, but same address.

I remember last year there was a lot of panic that it was too good to be true, but no-one seemed to have any bother. (One of the things I ordered last year was out of stock, but they rang me and gave me the choice of a refund or something else)

qwertyshell · 16/10/2009 17:27

can i ask now many times one person has used this offer?? iv done it twice, and kinda wanna do another lol

Bucharest · 16/10/2009 17:32

I've done it twice, but may well go back for more tomorrow!

ramonaquimby · 16/10/2009 17:40

is this all legit, what's the catch?

Lizzylou · 16/10/2009 18:09

Just done it again with DH's name and credit card.
Got 3 for 2 and then £30 off!!!

Thanks!

MimieD · 16/10/2009 19:51

Thanks, just ordered for DD2's first birthday and some much-needed trainers for DD2

vjg13 · 17/10/2009 09:22

Thank you, just ordered a DS lite from each site for £72.95 wouldn't have got them if they were full price!

HappyMummyOfOne · 17/10/2009 14:47

Worth googling the discount codes for this group, their terms and conditions state if the code was not sent to you directly then they have the right to recoup the discount at a later point. MSE have many threads on people being charged months later for abusing codes not sent to the buyer.

bonkerz · 17/10/2009 16:28

fantastic just got DS main present and some clothes for £30 (keyboard was £46 alone!) Then used Dh name and got WII fit and board for £30! bargain!

ramonaquimby · 17/10/2009 19:02

there is ALWAYS a catch, i'm not going to bother

bonkerz · 17/10/2009 19:44

no catch they did this last year.....i suspect the catch is you have to open an account with them BUT you can pay it off when the bill comes in and then close the account! i did this last year and just did it again, opened my account, ordered my stuff (an account in my name and dh did one too with each catalogue) so basically we have got £240 worth of stuff for £120.........all paid off cos we logged into our account and paid in full via card straight away! looks like our xmas shopping is now done!

qwertyshell · 17/10/2009 20:41

i did this last year aswell with no problems, i just pay it off and never order again, i just open a new account when the good discount codes come out

Bucharest · 18/10/2009 13:46

Yes, you don't have to use the account- just click on pay-by-card instead.

I remember an enormously long thread on this last year with everyone worrying they were going to be asked to repay the discount down the line- I googled yesterday and around 2005 there did seem to be a bit of this going on, in that the Littlewood's company did write to some people and say the code wasn't intended for them...but their small print says you can't use a code if it "wasn't sent to you directly" or "if you don't fit the criteria" for the discount. I think we could all argue the 2nd point.

tlouy7 · 18/10/2009 17:53

hello how dose this argos thing work you have to open a credit card account with them or can you pay with your own credit card and just open an account with them thanks louise

deste · 18/10/2009 18:53

I bought the Nano ipod video. It cost £108 instead of £135. I paid it in full with my credit card. Thanks for the tip.

Bucharest · 18/10/2009 19:13

Louise- it's Additions or Very.co.uk, but yes, you just fill in their blurb, at which point they authorise you to spend £1,000 on credit (no wonder people get into so much debt if it's so easy to get hold of!) then place your order, adding the code at the end.

ThePrettiestStar · 18/10/2009 20:28

Why won't it work for me :-(

SillyMillysMummy · 18/10/2009 20:33

i have just ordered dd a ds lite, thanks loads
