After spending £5 on an unavoidable emergency phone call from my mobile to hsbc using their 08457 404404 number, I had a search online and found this site, and have now found alternatives for almost all the 0845 etc. numbers I am forced to use from time to time.
I highly recommend it to anyone else who, like me, finds they have to do things on the phone sometimes instead of online or in person.
