We're looking into moving out of the stone age and browsing wireless broadband packages. Is anyone out there with Orange, and would you recommend it? Otherwise, are any of the other providers good/reliable/well priced? Thanks!

i would advise caution with these wireless packages...sister got one with a free laptop from 3g i think it was ...she was advised its free internet browsing upto 3(some letters not sure what at this time)..after the first three months she got a letter saying they were going to slow her down as she went over her usage according to the fair use policy....she couldnt even get online...worst thing is she is tied into a 2yr contract...would have been better with bt or cable as would have got more for her £30 a month....you could try out a comparison website...

My mil went with orange as it was offering a free laptop - took her ages to get the laptop and a nightmare with customer service to set up. I'm with tiscali, £15/month broadband and free calls at weekend (use my mobile during the week) - no problems with service and customer service better than most. Not as good as BT, but nowhere near as expensive.

Watch out for hidden line rental costs! tiscali's price is all in.
