I am in the process of starting up a new business making nappy cakes and would love to know what peoples ideas are on what should be in them, how big they should be, what price they think is realistic??? All ideas/suggestions/comments welcome thanks xx

I dare not even look!

Unless I'm losing my mind, I think this isn't the first thread you've started on here flogging your mentioning that website. I think you are supposed to pay for advertising or it's spam isn't it?

Divvy · 15/04/2009 11:36

Ok, I looked, and what a awful name for something quite nice! I would change the name!

LackaDAISYcal · 15/04/2009 11:38

I think they are a bit twee, but see things like this everywhere these days so they are obviously popular.

Will you do disposable or real nappies? I've seen "bouquets" done with real nappies which look a bit nicer imo.

Marne · 15/04/2009 11:42

I don't like them, i have seen someone at a local boot-sale trying to sell them, they seem a bit expensive for a few nappies and some baby lotion.

geordieminx · 15/04/2009 11:44

Just why is this in saving/promotional??? Should it not be in small business ads, and should you not have paid a £30 fee??? Sheeesh

Divvy · 15/04/2009 11:44

Same items in a backet with a bow would lok much better.

Then you could call it, new baby gift basket instead.

Divvy · 15/04/2009 11:45

You can taketaht as basket or bucket...take yur pic!

clpsmum · 15/04/2009 15:50

can i just state for the sake of spicemonster THIS IS NOT MY WEBSITE. i happened to get a gift from them and thought it was nice and then had the idea i could maybe make these and sell in an e-bay shop to make extra money while on mat leave was not trying to sell anything was asking people what they thought. thanks everybody else for your comments

I would then try and think up a different name for yours then.

clpsmum · 15/04/2009 20:21

to be honest i don't think i will bother had a look on ebay and there are so many people doing it i don't think i could compete and was only to try and make a bit of extra cash think i will give it up as a bad idea just glad i din't invest any money into it thanks everybody for your comments and ideas
