I started a thread on breadmakers and apparently they are wonderful and really used, so now I am dying to get one, but finances currently won't allow.

Does anyone know of any sales/discount codes etc, where I could get one cheap?

We got ours in Lidls- it was £25,keep your eye out for promotions,I think they sell breadmakers quite often.

this one is £30 in argos

mine is

this £44 one by the same make. I use it every other day and it's been fine

It might be worth popping into lidl as they keep the stuff for sale that hasn't sold over the weeks, you may be lucky and find there is one there.

amazon have a morphy richards for £37

AnguaVonUberwald · 07/02/2009 17:17

Thankyou Furball and Poshwellies, I really want to get one, but money is tight this month and DH is not convinced. Its great to here that both of those were good, and I think the morphy richards one was recommended by Which.

I will go and do some diging. Good point about going to the Lidle store as well, to see whats there.

I bought the anthony warrel thomson breadmaker from ebay for £50.00 including postage and it was only used twice by the previous owner! It normally costs £100 so I got a bargain! It's really great and I use it alot. If you know for sure you want to make your own bread etc, spend a bit more or get one second hand like me .

likessleep · 09/02/2009 12:26

i posted up for one on freecycle and got one. it might be worth a try?

shortandsweet · 09/02/2009 15:08

If you want I could give you one for free and just pay the postage. It is heavy and would cost around £10 to post. You can email me on [email protected]
It is a cookworks from argos and cost around £30, just a little bit different from the one furball has posted

shortandsweet · 09/02/2009 15:09

The one I have is the white one.

BexieID · 09/02/2009 15:15

Hotukdeals says you can get one for £23.27, info here

Lovesdogsandcats · 10/02/2009 11:46
