Boden recommend a friend - how do you claim the £2.50 per recomendation?

I have recomended a couple of friends - do they have to order before you get the £2.50? Not sure how this works. Does anyone know?

no you don't i recommended mine then about a month later i asked boden if i had it and they told me how much.
