Would love it but have nowhere to put it. My mum used to have a 10ft tree that we used to drag out every year and tie a rag doll to the top as she couldn't reach it.

Happy days.

I am gutted bought thsi when it was reduced to £30.00 a fortnight ago .

It is a very lovely tree though.

stressed2007 · 03/12/2008 20:42

why dont you by another one and then take it back on the old (higher) receipt then? Whole thread about this somewhere

BreevandercampLGJ · 03/12/2008 22:37

Chavtastic....

AnotherFineMess · 03/12/2008 22:41

Awwwww Bree, don't go spoiling the lovely vibe on this thread with the c word.

Thanks OP.

BreevandercampLGJ · 03/12/2008 22:53

Sorry

However, this is an internet forum you posted details of something that even at tuppence halfpenny is still theft.

Should I just smile sweetly and promise to dash out and get at least two ??

IMO, they are a pile of steaming chavvy poo.

combustiblelemon · 03/12/2008 22:56

PMSL

AnotherFineMess · 03/12/2008 22:59

Ha, I think you scretly want one and you're trying to put us all off so they don't go out of stock

Tell us about your tree then Bree, is it decorated with hand-made decorations from recycled Boden fabrics?

BreevandercampLGJ · 03/12/2008 23:04

No

It is a real tree, with baubles that have come from my family home. Some of the baubles are older than me, and that is going some.

But seriously, the point is it is traditional.

Black and Silver (other rubbish is available )is puke inducing nonsense. IMO

prettymum · 04/12/2008 12:17

well some people only actually buy a tree to see theyre childrens face light up, it may be tradition for you, good for you. for some people at this time with hardly any money, at least it gives us the opportunity to buy somethin to make our children happy, whether it looks chavvy or not!

OP posts:
4CALLINGBIRDSandnotout · 04/12/2008 12:20

It's out of stock in all our local stores

spookycharlotte121 · 04/12/2008 12:25

Oh shhhh Bree if people like it let them buy it. No need to make them feel like their taste is inferior to yours.... you know manners dont cost anything and what you said is rude!

ComeWhineWithMe · 04/12/2008 12:56

Well Bree sorry if I am a chav .

But after having a real one last year which caused dd to have an allergic reaction I think I will stick to my chavtastic tree.

I actually think that yours sounds a bit poncey but thats just my opinion .

surprisenumber3 · 04/12/2008 14:25

Our real one last year came complete with millions of bug eggs which then decided to hatch on Christmas day.....and crawl into the wrapped presents of our guests, which were under the tree...

This year it's fake all the way!

spookycharlotte121 · 04/12/2008 14:35

I must admit I fake it too!

Not suitable to have a real tree with 2 under 2.
Im sure my tree will look lovely... its from M&S dontcha know! Only the best in this house hold!!! Got a brill deal in their 3 for 2 and having been raving about it ever since!

dingdongmerrilyonpie · 04/12/2008 17:58

Bree, there's no photo of the tree on your profile, perhaps you could put a picture up we'd all love to see it.

Upwind · 04/12/2008 18:05

"Our real one last year came complete with millions of bug eggs which then decided to hatch on Christmas day.....and crawl into the wrapped presents of our guests, which were under the tree..."

That is such a bizarre Christmas disaster it made me laugh out loud!

pinkmagic1 · 04/12/2008 18:08

Well I don't think its chavy, a very nice example of an artificial tree IMO. It is out of stock at all my local shops though.
