If you feel urge to spend !150 on a hessian sack, I will dig out a few from my shed and sell them to you for1/4 of the price.

Step away from the catalogue

MD...will keep your offer in mind. Strangely, I do know what you mean, but am drawn to it nonetheless; am not sure why? There are some good things in the catalogue though???
There's a nice velvet tunic, in that it's velvet and not too 'mother of the bride'.

Code anyone?

The problem with the catalogue is that nothing looks the same as it does in the flesh. Went to the Oxford shop on Monday and some things - like the velvet skirt and the cord jeans skirt were really beautiful ( and the fairisle long socks) others, like most of the dresses and the thin jersey runics were very overpriced and really dull. Knitwear is, on the whole, nice. The Brora shop is next door... which iss a very bad set up as that is really lovely, and even more expensive so it all left me feeling extremely poverty stricken and cross! Yes a code would be lovely, but I suspect they don't do them.

i have a small catalogue with a 10% off code - but only for the stuff in the catalogue though. it is w8ir - it gives free postage and returns for everything even if it isn't in the catalogue. i can't see a velvet tunic in there but all the shetland and merino stuff and jersey tops and some more. hth

thank you bettybeetroot - will give it a go!
