Can you still cut out coupons and swap them for cash at supermarket customer services?

Used to do this as achild and wondered if it was still do-able.

I've never heard of this but I wouldn't have thought so - every coupon I've ever seem says "no cash value" or "face value 0.01p" or similar. And "cannot be redeemed against any other item."

in waitrose you can use them to get money off your bill as long as they stock the item and you dont try and use too many at once!

you can do it in asda (unless it's now changed) i always forget though

I used to work in Safeway many moons ago and they used to allow 6 tokens if you hadn't bought the item.

I don't think you can do it in Tesco

ah, i misread the title you can use them as money off your shopping at the checkout.
