when my dd was little I did something similar with her and her half-sister's footprints except I used the text, "look, daddy has let us walk all over him again".

I got a couple of these frilly fleeces from Ikea for my girls. I'm going to blanket stitch the edges of the red one like Iggle Piggles blanket for my dd2... although, at the mo, she's happy with it as it is.
