We used ours bank holiday Monday.
I just made sure we didnt order any meal deal type things, like the bbq pizza and side combo thingy, and you cant have the buffet. It does not cover drinks either.

Still saved us £15 though.

mumofdjandbabies · 04/09/2008 09:08

ok thanks

we normally get the two people for £15 or whatever meal deal I guess but better not to get that and order our own indiv stuff then and get the 50% off?

I am hoping my mum will have the kids so I can go with DH

What's this voucher thing? Have I missed it?

SnoopDog · 04/09/2008 09:11

yep i used mine,

it is actually cheaper to order from the main menu even if you want the meal deal IYSWIM,

so the normal deal for 1 person is 6.99

(one starter and one small pizza)

but half of 3.50 (starter) and half of 5.99 (main) is less that 6.99,

there were no funny restrictions and the waitress knew what i meant as soon as i asked about the voucher,

the new bbq pizzas are tasty

SnoopDog · 04/09/2008 09:13

here zoo

DaisySteiner · 04/09/2008 09:15

We used ours on bank holiday Monday and 6 of us ate for under £25 including drinks and desserts. Have got another voucher now to use at a different branch

zoo123 · 04/09/2008 09:17

Thank you, I've just emailed for mine too.

zippitippitoes · 04/09/2008 09:17

it says on one of the other threads that they did in fact get money off drinks too tho the terms say no

We didn't get 50% off our drinks, but then the kids' were included anyway and we got free refills with ours so was good value anyway.

AuntyJ · 04/09/2008 09:26

Can you use this and then pay with clubcard vouchers?

mummyeme · 04/09/2008 18:41

Hi,
Used mine on Monday too, but you're right about the restrictions. Drinks are still full price, as was the chidrens meal (as it was part of a childrens meal deal), so only £6 off £20 for us, but still very good.

I have used it twice!!

Cost £20 for 3 adults and 4 kids and we could use it for the kid meals too.

Second time it cost £15 for 2 adults and 3 kids.

Tis brilliant.

Trafficcone · 04/09/2008 18:52

Yes, we used ours. I was pee'd off to find that by ordering a childs pizza we were being sold a 'kids meal deal' and thus it wasn't 50% off. If they ever do it again we'll buy a medium for the younger 2 to share and avoid that.

mumofdjandbabies · 04/09/2008 20:59

ooh cant wait to go now

so adult meals and normal puds and starters will be 50% off but not drinks

is that right

do you need to show id with your voucher??

OP posts:
Majeika · 04/09/2008 21:03

no to id

ask if the kid meals are included cos we paid halfprice

mumofdjandbabies · 06/09/2008 21:36

ooh ooh we went today it was FABULOUS

OP posts:
minorbird · 06/09/2008 21:39

Yes we've just come back! £15 off a usually £30plus bill. So much for my low carbs diet... well, the desserts are half price too!

mumofdjandbabies · 06/09/2008 21:52

I really enjoyed myself and our visit thats a bit sad isnt it

maybe its the knowing youre getting a bargain too!!

OP posts:
minorbird · 06/09/2008 23:17

mumofdjandbabies · 06/09/2008 23:20
