Copied from the thread I started about it:
We only went in becasue the Dses were winging about being hungry and it was one of teh first places we came across. have been in the one in Portsmouth before and it was great.
This was awful, 1 hour and 55 minutes we were in the place.
The Dses ordered from the child's menu, which included salad bowl and drink. The food came, no salad bowl, so we aksed for one, then we asked again,, then we asked again. It finally arrived and was a huge plate, when the bill came they tried to charge us £3.95 for an adult salad!. Then we asked for refills, and waited ages. Now it wasn't busy, 4 tables with 4 people at them and 1 table with 8. There were 2 staff members who stood behind the bar texting, then our waiter disappeared, only to be seen in civvie clothing going outside. it was at this point we decided we had been forgotten about. We then waited 20 minutes for them to get the bowls for the DSes ice-cream, and all this time no one came and cleared our table at all, we had to chase up drinks. Then I went into the loo, one of the staff was in there, putting make up on and texting. There was no liquid soap,as the dispenser had been pulled off the wall, and the bag of soap had been burst and was spilling all over the floor, so I couldn't wash my hands properly, and the dryer didn't work. Meanwhile, the bowls for the Dses had been brought over, but they had no spoons, so we had to wait 10 minutes for that. During the whole experience I could see non working staff members in the kitchen, drinking pepsi, and eating and hanging around, some on their phones.
I needed to get that off my chest. I actually feel like I want to complain to someone. We did ask if there was a manager on duty, but we were told he was off and the duty manager looked about 12.
