I love DS to be in nice clothes and I didn't think I would be that bothered . I'd like to know your tips on saving money whilst buying clothes - I already do these things:

  1. buy from ebay, new and "used but quality"
  2. buy larger sizes in sales bearing in mind what season it will be then
  3. keep an eye on this forum!

Any other tips for a spendthrift?

i have 5 and they mostly especially the bigger ones like the expensive stuff.

designer clothes at a fraction of the price. x

also wait for the 70% off at monsoon, (if your nerves can stand it)

Sell anything that is still in good condition after he's grown out of it. You can build up a little pot in your Paypal account to use for new stuff.

On Gumtree (mine anyway) people are always selling masses of clothes for very little.

ds2 gets loads of stuff from friends with older children. We pass stuff round between us - I rarely buy him anything - ask around often people are glad to get rid, and I return the service to others.

If you trawl hot uk deals for voucher codes.

Lots of times I've got a code for £10 off at say Vertbaudet, La Redoute etc and just bought sale items.
So when I check out I can get a couple of items and just pay postage costs.
