Sprive - is it working for you?

Signed up to Sprive. Free money off my mortgage yay.

Found the whole buying vouchers online a bit of a faff initially but got the hang of it now.

Managed to add an additional £120 to my mortgage in three months but none of it shows off my balance yet (as stupid nationwide doesn’t recognise it until it’s over £500).

If I carry on I’ll knock 2 years off my mortgage. Yay.

I have seen several of these posts lately. Are you being paid or somehow incentivised (beyond whatever you make off the referral code) to write these thinly-veiled adverts for them, which all strangely seem to hit the same talking points as well.

Literally just the referral code is the incentive.

I know that everyone’s rates are different but it would be interesting to see who’s actually managed to pay down a decent amount before I give up hope.

I do a slight overpayment each month via the bank, but then this is “additional” money straight off the loan that you otherwise wouldn’t get, straight off the mortgage.
