I’ve seen a few threads on here from people wanting to start investing but feeling a bit overwhelmed by ISAs, ETFs, platforms etc.

I use Trading 212 and they currently have a referral offer where new users can get free shares when signing up through an invite link. This is my referral link, so full disclosure, I may benefit from it too 😊

I’ve also been building a free site called AltPath to make getting started with investing a bit less confusing. It has things like an investment calculator, budget planner, broker comparison, portfolio tools and beginner-friendly guides:

AltPath

The idea is basically to help you work out how much you could comfortably put aside, understand the different options and then do your own research rather than just being told “buy this”.

Everything on AltPath is free. Would also genuinely appreciate feedback from anyone new to investing because that’s exactly who I’m trying to make it useful for.

Just to be clear, neither this post nor AltPath is financial advice, and investments can go down as well as up. Please check the Trading 212 offer terms and eligibility before signing up. Happy investing ladies 😘
