Tips for saving on home office setups – anyone tried Pith and Stem?

I’ve been trying to improve my little home office setup lately but didn’t want to spend a fortune. I came across a brand called Pith and Stem — they do those space-saving work-from-home desks that fold up into the wall. They look really clever for smaller homes or flats.
I nearly gave up because of the price, but I did a bit of digging and found a site that lists discount codes for them: https://discountcodes.hotdeals.com/brands/pith-and-stem — just in case it helps anyone else who’s been eyeing their stuff too.
Still deciding whether to go for it, so if anyone’s used their products, would love to know what you think about the quality and installation.

Yeah, I’ve seen those — they look great in photos but I’m not sure they’re worth the full price. A friend of mine got one last year and said the build quality was solid, though installation wasn’t exactly “easy” despite what the ads say. You’ll probably need proper wall anchors or a handyman if you’re not confident with tools. The folding part is smooth, though, and it does save space.

I have not used their desks but the fold up idea looks handy for small spaces. I would probably want to see one in person before spending that much though.

I haven’t used their fold-up desks myself, but I’ve seen a few in small flats and they do look genuinely space saving. The main thing people seem to mention is that the installation needs to be done properly or it can feel a bit wobbly. If the quality is solid and you really need the extra space, it might be worth it, but I’d want to see one in person first just to get a sense of how sturdy it feels day to day.

If you do end up getting one, please update because I am very curious about how solid they actually are and whether they wobble or feel cheap once you start using them.
