Wonderbly books – worth it for kids?

I’ve been thinking about getting a Wonderbly personalised book for my little one – it looks like such a sweet idea to have their name and story together. But the prices are definitely on the steep side, and with everything costing more these days I’m trying to be careful.
I spotted this page with discount codes: https://uk.hotdeals.com/brands/wonderbly-discount-codes. Has anyone here actually used these codes and had success? Do they tend to work, or am I better off waiting for a sale directly from Wonderbly?
If you’ve bought from them before, how was the quality? Did your kids actually love the books and read them more than once, or was it more of a “nice gift but sits on the shelf” situation?
Would love to hear from other parents before I take the plunge!

We were given one of the Wonderbly books as a gift for our eldest and I’ll admit I was a bit sceptical at first because of the price. The quality is genuinely lovely though – nice thick pages, colourful illustrations and the personalisation does make it feel really special. My two still go back to theirs every now and then, so it wasn’t just a one-off read.

I’ve bought a couple of Wonderbly books for my two, one when they were toddlers and another as a birthday gift later on. The quality is genuinely lovely – nice thick pages, bright colours, and the stories feel quite special because of the personalisation. My eldest still pulls hers out now and then even though she’s getting a bit older, so it hasn’t just sat on the shelf.

We’ve bought a couple of Wonderbly books for birthdays and Christmas and they went down really well. The personalisation is lovely – my DCs were so excited to see their names in the story, and it definitely kept their attention more than a “normal” book.
They are a bit more expensive than standard picture books, but I’d say they make a really nice keepsake or special gift rather than something you’d buy all the time. Delivery was smooth and the quality of the printing and binding felt good. If you’re looking for something memorable, they’re worth it.

We’ve got a couple of Wonderbly books — they were gifted to us, and I have to admit they’re really lovely quality. The personalisation is a nice touch, and my eldest was obsessed with seeing her name in the story when she was around 3–4.
That said, they’re definitely on the pricey side. I don’t think I’d have bought them myself at full price, especially since they grow out of them pretty quickly. But as a special gift (grandparents or godparents maybe), they’re quite sweet.

The quality’s nice and the personalisation makes them feel quite special – my eldest still pulls his out at bedtime even though he’s getting a bit older now.

We’ve got a few and have gifted many for birthdays, new baby gifts etc. I love the range choice and think the quality is better than other personalised books. MULTI20 code usually works for 20% off two books or more.
