If anyone is interested in signing up for the Robinhood trading app then I have a referral code that gets you a free share worth up to $150 (though most are worth between $7-8), and up to $1500 per year as once you've signed up, you then get your own referral code which gets you 5 free shares (eg at least $35) every time someone signs up using it. I've just done it and then got my husband to sign up using my code, which means we've got a total of 7 free shares between us so far, which is over £41 just for both of us just signing up - it was really easy!

Registration takes about 5 mins and you need to make a small deposit into your account to get the free share (I just did £10, I'm not sure what the actual minimum is). You don't have to invest it though, you can leave it sitting in there as cash and earn over 4% interest and cash out whenever you want. You can then sell your free shares after 3 days, but you have to wait 30 days to withdraw the cash from them.
Thought it might help anyone wanting a bit of extra money in the run up to Christmas for an easy 5 mins work!
