Most reliable and straight forward place for mounjaro?

Blackcats7 · 15/07/2024 18:58

I am planning to start mounjaro shortly.
Can I ask which suppliers are reliable with stock availability/dispatch time/ packaging please? And what are their requirements for ordering?
I tried ozempic last year some success at higher dose but then uk stocks ran out. I was buying from quick meds and later right angled. Had to use two places to try and find stock.
I had to upload a copy of id and photo of my feet on the scales plus usual questionnaire. I could choose not to have my gp contacted.
Am pondering Boots because they are a big trusted name but open to advice please.

There is loads of info on suppliers pinned to the top of the 'continuing mounjaro 16' thread. I am with Voy and have been very happy so far. I had to send a full body photo and a pic of id and full out a health questionnaire and my own was here within two days of approval. My second one was dispatched today. They provided coaching and have been very quick to respond to questions. They are on the expensive side (although you can find a code for £85 off your first order) and I have read about a couple of people having trouble with customer service but that has not been my experience.

If I were to change supplier, I think I would look at Oushk and Bolt as alternatives.

IReallyNeedThisToWork · 15/07/2024 19:20

Also, I like that Voy is a subscription so they automatically send your next pen 4 weeks later. The others require you to order it yourself! 😁

letthem · 15/07/2024 19:20

I've been using zava and loved it, you get a support pack and the whole process was fast, plus if you share your codes you can get 15% off which makes it one of the cheapest suppliers

MounjaroUser · 15/07/2024 19:22

I really like Bolt Pharmacy. The prices have been good and the communication with the team there is great. If I order on Friday afternoon it will arrive on Sunday, really well packaged.

I have used Voy and really like them. Super easy process to sign up. They have a great app and really good coaching resources. Here's my referral code if you'd like to use them

I'm with Voy, been with them since March. It's a subscription service so always gets delivered when you expect it. First order with a sign up link is £144 but then goes up to £230.... unless you can get someone to use your code and then you get 50% off (so next one is £114 ish).

They have a great app and support coaches. I've stuck with them rather than chopping and changing suppliers as I have either had a 50% off month or paid ful price but kinda balances itself out rather than changing suppliers x

I've used voy and med express. Tbh both have done what I needed, got the jabs to me on time and what was needed. However voy has that little bit of extra care. There is extra support available and people to talk to. Med express feels a bit more like a delivery service and if you pay they are happy. Med express used to do discount codes but have unfortunately stopped. Voy do still do discount if others use your code. Both parties then get a discount, this is mine joinvoy.com/r/U-1j2i3PWHNt

With med express I did also have to go buy needles that were better quality but this wouldnt stop me using them as they were cheap to buy. However voy just feels like they use the best of everything.

Good luck on your journey and any questions, shout

WithASpider · 15/07/2024 23:59

My first pen was from Pharmacy 2U - reviewed by a Dr who had additional questions. Dispatched quickly once they were happy.
2nd/3rd pens are on their way from Zava (discount code!). Had to fill in a questionnaire and send 2 pics for that one. Taken a bit longer to process but they've now been dispatched too.

bubblecandy · 16/07/2024 00:30

I use Voy as supplier, they are consistent and supply pens monthly. On consultation before approval you are required to send photo of yourself but not a photo of weight on scales and ID. You don't have to consent to GP being informed.

They are not the cheapest but if you can refer a friend you get a 50% discount each referral, but restarts with each new pen. If you download the app then you get a monthly discount also.

I have not used another provider so can't compare.

I won't post my discount code as there are so many being posted on all the Mounjaro sites, but if you decide to go with Voy and you wish to get a discount let me know and I can give you my code. Happy weight loss 😀

AhBiscuits · 16/07/2024 05:50

I used Health Express and found them to be fast, reliable and easy to order from. I didn't want to mess around changing suppliers so stuck with them.

People will sing the praises of Voy because they want you to use their discount code. It's the most expensive option after month 1 but you get some coaching if that is something you want.

AnnaDor · 16/07/2024 06:34

I use Health Express too.
Not necessarily the cheapest but no messing with codes, can buy two pens at a time, next day Royal Mail delivery, includes 7 Novotwist needles per pen (so spare for extra dose) in each order, sharps bin with first order and option to tell your GP yourself or for them to tell them.

spuddy4 · 16/07/2024 06:41

Everyone will say Voy because they want you to use their discount code. Personally I use boots because I'm in work and find it easier to pick it up rather than chance I'll be there for delivery. They are not the cheapest but for me they are convenient.

Medenagan · 16/07/2024 06:43

Voy have been very efficient with delivery and communication and I’ve found the support tools beneficial too. Discount code here joinvoy.com/r/U-PGIceSOvTG

IReallyNeedThisToWork · 16/07/2024 08:17

I actually rather resent the comments that people only recommend Voy because they want somebody to use their code! Yes, it's great when it is used and you get a discount but, in my experience, the service is actually very good with a great app, the option to speak to a weight loss coach regularly, a free sharps bin, case for your pens and needles and quick assessment and delivery.

Yes, it is expensive if nobody uses your code but you are paying for a premium service which is a very good reason to use them if that's what you're looking for. If not, shop around for the best price.

Callmejudith · 16/07/2024 08:35

@IReallyNeedThisToWork I couldn't agree more! Their customer service is really excellent, I was able to request to stay on 2.5 for an additional month with no issues whatsoever. The check ins and coaching are really well thought out too. Plus you get a pretty orange box for your pen ;)

I've tried a few and use Bolt because they have consistently kept their prices sensible and didn't try to gauge customers (even during low stock periods).

User364837 · 16/07/2024 16:44

Depends what your priorities are I think, I’ve gone with Zava as couldn’t find any cheaper and they have been fine so far. A little slow for dr to approve but others haven’t had that. I was worried about delivery because they said a signature would be needed and I’m rarely home all day to receive it because of various things but in the end my postman left in my safe place anyway which was fine. I have a 15% off code (makes it about £122) which is REF3DB2D

pamplemoussed · 16/07/2024 17:09

It’s a little ungracious to say people only recommend Voy to get a code. I choose Voy because of the certainty, the coaching, the swift responses, the money back guarantee if you don’t lose 10% of your body weight.. the clarity on options for maintenance, the clear travel guidance. I don’t have the time or energy to switch suppliers every few months . I want continuity and certainty. But yes it costs a bit more for all these benefits and if someone can make use of a discount code - then great. No one is forced to use them.

Totally agree, Voy has been fantastic for me, just about to get my 4th pen with them and honestly have zero complaints!

Zava have been really good. They keep in touch whilst you are on the medication and re ordering is really simple plus I think it’s one of the cheapest. Here’s a discount code if anyone needs one REFCNPCT

Tirzepatide · 17/07/2024 07:21

Most people have only tried one supplier - max two, I would imagine. I haven't heard anyone complain about a supplier on here. Obviously, people want you to use their discount code too - if you go to the discount code thread you'll be able to see who most people are with at the moment.

I'm with ASDA (no complaints) - at the time VOY was the cheapest with the discount code but then not when the dose went up, so I avoided them - I also wasn't interested in the extra coaching etc. ASDA only offer a 10% discount code (which I didn't use for my first two purchases in case it passed on my name - I've since shared mine on the discount thread, and it doesn't!).

I've noticed that ASDA is in partnership in some way with ZAVA, and ZAVA is cheaper than ASDA to start with (don't think this was the case when I started, but it certainly is now). I'm sticking with ASDA but if I was starting again now I would seriously consider ZAVA.

I've copied the comparison chart across from the continuing thread.
