i really fancy to buy one, as everyone say they love theirs. we have tiny pedal brabantia since married, now with 2 kids i seem to empty bin twice a day sometimes.
any idea what size is suitable for family of 4. they look giant as i used to my little one. are they really worth? 60% off still 60 pounds?

I have a 50-litre for a family of 3 DforDiva and I love it. We probably could also have gone for the next size down (30 litres I think) and it wouldn't have been too small, but I haven't found that 50-litres is much too big.

mmm, my finger itching to click and buy
got to have a look again

A warning: I used to have one of those. After 4 days it would smell. It's OK if you have stacks of rubbish and empty it twice a week, but if you don't, it is really not as good as it's cracked up to be. Because it's so big, it's stinky. I ended up getting rid of it and buying a smaller bin which needs to be emptied more often.

littlebella, thats my point. i moan because i empty my bin every morning, but at least its better way to keep clean. i like the touch one, as dd 3 very keen tp put her paper cuts and etc in the bin(recent) so it will be also good.will 30L be ok for us

I tend to have a carrier bag sized bin and I empty it every or every other day. TBH I prefer that but can see your point if you don't want to be emptying every day. I once had a 30 L and it did me for the whole week, but I recycle and compost everything and sometimes don't even have a black sack full of rubbish, so I don't know if that's a good guide or not.
