M&S credit note

I have an expired credit note. Blooming expired YESTERDAY! I am not here to hear how silly I am or that “it had a date on why didn’t you use it” or that I entered into a conrtract for M&S to steal my money after 12 months. What I am wanting to know is, has anyone ever got them to show discretion or even better have you been able to use an expired voucher on the self service till?

And I just want to add that I have mental health issues and adhd so while I was procrastinating on using the voucher I misplaced it and thendidn’t have the will to get out of bed and have a really good look until today. Found it a day too late which is proper frustrating.

The best thing to do is to just go in and give it a go, though I wouldn't be hopeful. If you're lucky, you may come across a very sympathetic manager who agrees to let you use it.

Thank you that’s what I did this morning and they did let me use it! I don’t think id get that lucky again but I’m very thankful! It would have been different if it was longer expired though.
