With cost of living crisis I’ve tried a few ways to save or earn a bit of extra cash from Swagbucks (ok to earn bit of money but takes long time) to Airtime rewards which credits to your mobile phone account.
Airtime rewards is a handy app to earn money off your mobile bill as you can link as many cards to it as you want (own, kids, husbands) and once you have linked your card that’s it you just have to spend using any of the cards saved on your account at any retailer linked to airtime rewards. The benefit of this is not having to remember to click on links before making purchases and works both instore and online for a lot of retailers. Then once you reach £10 you can transfer the credit to the phone number linked to your account and it automatically comes off your next mobile phone bill. Retailers range from argos to JoJo Maman Bebe to Morrisons (although supermarkets only tend to appear on the site for month or two then disappear again). You can also purchase gift cards which increases your rewards (or like I do get kids ps4/Xbox gift cards via argos download codes).
The rewards are fairly slow to build up, but especially towards Christmas if you are buying gifts such as games consoles or even white goods you can quickly reach £10.
So basically for a free app that you can just forget about apart from redeeming credit when you reach £10 which is done by one click of a button it’s worth getting.
