So they just send you some spice mixes?!? You buy all the veg, meat, carbs etc (ie the actual food?). Or am I missing something?

I've signed up for a free box, but I'm 99% certain I won't continue. It looks like an expensive way to buy spices!
But then I have a very well stocked spice rack.

Yes my thoughts exactly, but it's always nice to try a couple new recipes for free and gives me more ideas for meals into a rotation.

I see where you are coming from,but the mixes and flavour pots for things like firecracker noodles and chicken makhani etc are very hard to recreate at home.They make curries and Chinese dishes taste really authentic.I suppose it just comes down to personal preference and I really rate Simply Cook.

I agree I really like simply cook - the black bean tofu is fab as is the mushroom rjssitto no way could I recreate that for as cheap!

Yes,that's what I like.I could never replicate the Indian,Chinese,African etc dishes and make them taste authentic,which is great.I use the recipes instead of getting a chinese/Indian takeaway etc.and for me,it works really well.

I got caught out by this before - thought it was a proper recipe box (ie one with all the ingredients) and then nearly died laughing when it arrived.

And it's £9.99 for 4 meals without any of the actual ingredients if you pay full price! Not for me I'm afraid.

Whereas with me,I love the fact you can use the recipes whenever suits you.The idea of meat,fish etc being sent through the post really doesn't appeal to me.Horses for courses I suppose x

I first started with Simply Cook through a referral code free box,and have just kept it going.I like the fact that I can order as many boxes as I want,only get a box every couple of weeks,take a break etc,etc.I like the fact you are very free to pick and choose what suits you,and not be obliged to sign up to loads of boxes or get one each week etc as that wouldn't suit me at all.

Well I'm really excited about mine especially as I'm planning to use them as a chance to liven up our attempts at veggie/vegan teas. This is where I think spice will improve our eating hugely.

Yes,it is ever so easy to amend any orders you have or want to come.It literally takes seconds to change your preferences and delay boxes by 1,2,3 weeks or get a box every 1,2,4 weeks etc.You can take a break for as long as you want,or just cancel completely.It is really simple and takes no time at all.

We are big simply cook fans here! Family of 5 use them at the weekends to have more 'special' meals. Got extended family coming this weekend and cooking the scandi style salmon for them.
