I posted originally in Food & Recipes but MN said they wanted to keep the chat re Gousto on this section, so I'm just popping back with a review of the first couple of meals we've tried.

As an overview, having tried Hello Fresh before and been disappointed with some of the ingredients, I'd say that everything was packed and presented well and the vegetables included were in excellent condition.

Started off with the Warm Ginger Beef Noodle Salad with Peanuts - delicious, and so easy to make. It took me nearer 30 minutes from start to finish than the 20 suggested, but I am a notorious faffer.

I've also made the Creamy Bacon & Peas Sauce with Mushroom Tortelloni. Again, it took me slightly longer to make but, again, it was really lovely. I sometimes find mushroom stuffed pasta a bit meh and doughy when cooked, but this wasn't - and the sauce was a great accompaniment. Generous load of lardons which made the dog happy and we had a lunch portion leftover from this one, both of us are healthy eaters, the portions for 2 were v generous.

We made the beef noodles with roasted peanuts last night, was lovely! Definitely took me closer to 30 mins like you! The prepped in 5 mins are great!

We have been using it for around 10 months since the baby arrived and it just makes everything so much easier

We just had Tandoori Chicken Roti Wraps With Beetroot & Carrot Slaw. I need to buy some nesting mixing bowls so I don't need to use saucepans! It was easy, chicken marinated and under the grill. Carrot and beetroot grated and mixed with other ingredients in a 'bowl'. We used yoghurt plain on the roti wraps, put mango chutney in the cupboard for another day. My teen was happy and there's enough for tomorrow.

Nasi goreng was only ok - not enough flavour and the cucumber should have been pickled.

Chicken grain bowl with cashew sauce was nice, healthy and very very filling!
