Blue Light card anyone?

Does anyone hold a Blue Light Card and could check what the RAC breakdown offer is.

Am wondering if it's worth signing up for the card but it won't let me see the offer before doing so

£6 per month for new customers

The best discount however is 10% off your shop at ASDA.

BeNewbo · 17/07/2022 08:54

I have blue light, I think I pay £7 a month

greensnail · 17/07/2022 08:56

It's from £6 a month, you can pay more for better cover. Definitely worth getting a blue light card if you qualify as you can quickly make the cost back, there's some really good discounts available.

A Bluelight card costs £4.99 for two years worth of discounts. You can save that money in one purchase. I don't know why you wouldn't get one.

Agree although I wish they would do it online!

KEG05 · 17/07/2022 08:59

So so worth getting one.

Closedlips · 17/07/2022 08:59

I made the cost back of my blue light back immediately because loads of holiday parks have 10%, and most of them let you book during sales as well, so we managed to book a weekend at a Parkdean for £100. Well worth it in my opinion.

stormelf · 17/07/2022 09:07

Definitely wish Asda did the discount online as that's the only way I can my shopping. We got £20 off at Butlins with blue light card, I know it's not a huge discount but at the moment everything counts. I'll definitely look at the rac did punt though

Thanks everyone

Weve literally had ours about 3 weeks and saved on Butlins, parkdean and a ferry to IOW. Its great! Saved the cost 10 x over already!

Mines £5 for 5 years, Have they changed?

Jijithecat · 21/07/2022 21:40

Yes, I'm not sure when the change happened as I got my card when it was £5 for 5 years and it's up for renewal soonish. Still worth having even if you do now have to renew every two years.

AlphaAlpha · 21/07/2022 21:53

Just renewed mine and yes it's only 2 years now.
Still totally worth it, maybe I need to start shopping asda!
