EDF - £50 credit and best fixed rate energy available

Something I've been doing some research on. Martin Lewis has highlighted EDF as one of the best fixed options available and says now could be the time to switch for a lot of people. As EDF's two year fixed is currently 24% more than the existing price cap, but they are predicting prices expected to go up to go up by 46%+ from 1st Oct. This is cheaper than all other providers are offering (but there is a £300 exit fee if you want to leave)
